Something or Nothing

I've just wrapped up a tour poster for London-based dream poppers Pale Seas.
Something Or Nothing by Pale Seas
I wanted to create something that complimented their hazy sounds and kept that element of mystery.

They also wanted to take the posters out on the road, as merchandise. So I screen-printed 60 posters for their weeks escapade up and down England and here are some photos from the print session.

The separations for the two-colour poster.

Here is a screen waiting to have the images from the acetates burnt onto.

The firt screen, locked into the bed where the posters are printed.

First colour down and looking good.

Here are the posters now with the second colour on and drying out on the rack.

The poster, cropped and ready to be delivered to the band.

Here are some detail shots.

So the band will have 50 posters with them for the tour and I will have 10 for my shop, which will go on sale from Wednesday 21st March (the day after I return from Flatstock 33 in Austin, Texas) - if I have any left of course.

More on Flatstock 33 in the next couple of days...
